Visual artist Maeve D’Arcy will be giving an artist talk about a new series of paintings created with support from the New York Foundation for the Arts 2025 Queens Arts Fund New Work Grant.  The artist talk will highlight a range of topics including Ogham, loss of language, immigrant identity, diaspora, storytelling, symbols, and painting.  There will be a Q&A portion of the artist talk that will allow members of the audience to share personal stories related to these topics and create a discourse on painting, symbols and language.
