One Stop from Grand Central
Located in the thriving Queens neighborhood of Long Island City, the New York Irish Center is just one subway stop from Grand Central Station on the 7 train (Vernon-Jackson stop). If you are coming by car, we're just around the corner from the exit of the Midtown Tunnel, and close by is the 59th Street Bridge.
Coming from Queens/Long Island
If you’re driving from farther into Queens or on Long Island, take Long Island Expressway to the Van Dam St. exit, last before the Midtown Tunnel. If you're coming by train from Long Island, the LIRR stops just three blocks away (Hunters Point Avenue). If you're coming by subway from other parts of Queens, the 7 train runs right through Flushing, Jackson Heights, Woodside, and Sunnyside on its way to us.
