Between the Lines: The Gods of Clown Alley by Tara O'Grady

New York Irish Center Presents:

A Book Launch Sponsored by CADDIE TOURS

The Gods of Clown Alley

A memoir by Tara O'Grady

Join us for an entertaining evening of music and words as Singer-Songwriter and Author Tara O'Grady presents her second book, and also debuts new songs she's been busy writing during what she refers to as "The Great Pause." May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and O'Grady is using her book to promote conversation and spread awareness about matters of the heart and mind.

“What if I were to tell you we are all gods?” This is how Tara, the narrator, invites readers into her illuminating story of self healing at a mother-daughter retreat in Arizona after a debilitating depression that triggers suicidal thoughts and sparks a spiritual awakening with the realization that George Lucas was right, the Force is real.

"Hilarious journey inward." - Chronogram Magazine

"A captivating and candid look at how humans can learn to 'become artisans, transforming pain into love.'” - Kirkus Reviews

"Murder, madness, mayhem, and because it’s an Irish tale, the mother too." - Colin Broderick
