At PS 104 in Far Rockaway, the New York Irish Center organized a Toy Factory, assembling hundreds of Shoe-box gifts for the youngest Sandy victims. This was part of the Center's Shoe-box Appeal and the 2nd Irish Day Of Action - Christmas Meitheal. See the coverage by tv channel NY1.

The New York Irish Center once again partipated in the 1st Irish Theatre Festival, this time with the helping hands of the Irish Repetory Theatre.

On a Saturday afternoon in February, the Center produced its own version of National Public Radio's StoryCorps at Verbatim Studios in Manhattan. Priceless conversations among friends, the best form of storytelling, were captured in the recording booth.
