1st Irish On Film 2012 -In Collaboration with the Irish Rep

In September we had two screenings of Dancing At Lughnasa, as we once again participated in the 1st Irish theatre festival, with its 1st Irish On Film series, where we show plays that have made it to the silver screen, along with actual live theatre. So this year we were proud to collaborate with the Irish Rep to present a fine evening's entertainment, playing to full houses, on the nights of Sep 7 and Sep 21.

For each screening we welcomed renowned actor Ciaran O'Reilly of the Irish Rep to deliver a monologue from the stage version of Dancing At Lughnasa, masterfully written by Brian Friel. 

Other Festival News..

Congratulations to Jo Kinsella, recipient of the festival's Special Achievement Award. She starred in two plays Jimmy Kerr's House Strictly Private and Laoisa Sexton's For Love.  Joe gave us stellar performances in Jimmy Kerr's Ardnaglass On the Air at our Center in 2009 and 2010.
