New York Irish Center

Monthly Traditional Irish Music Session

The Ull Mor (Big Apple) branch of Comhaltas Ceolteoiri Eireann holds a traditional Irish music and dancing session at the Center on a monthly basis.  Lots of musicians, singers and dancers come down to join in this late-afternoon session of great trad.

All welcome! Just come and play, or just to listen!

Organized by Cathy Hornberger, of the Craobh Ull Mor CCE  session is normally held the third Sunday of the month.

Pronounced sesh-oon in Gaelic, a session refers to a free-flowing rendition of Irish traditional music, and sometimes dancing, under the guidance of a session leader.
