Upcoming Events @ the Center
Finally! A Training Class for Relationships!
Wouldn't we all like to learn more about how to
communicate with our partner in difficult
situations; learn how to ask the hard questions and
be able to really listen to the answers; learn more
about the person you/we love or work on bringing
back that “romance of the dating days”… well now we
have a seminar to help you get there! This 2 day
training seminar will help you work on getting the
most out of your relationship.
Please send an e-mail to
info@newyorkirishcenter.org to
be directed to Dr. Henry Malone who runs this
workshop in a confidential, nurturing atmosphere.

This group meets every Monday from 2pm to 5pm, and every
Thursday from 10:30am to 2pm.
We provide a large space for your child to run
around and play with toys.
A nice reprieve from the cold of the nearest
park!
Come for mutual support and fun for the children.
Senior Lunch and Social Club
We provide a weekly social life for our senior group
every Wednesday from 1pm to 4’ish!
While meeting old friends, playing cards,
chatting and making new friends, and generally feeling
welcome, we provide a free lunch to all who attend.
If you are the computer geek type, you can while
away the afternoon catching up on e-mails and
corresponding with relatives miles away, or enjoy your

The Center is kept running by people who come out
and support our events and activities. We are very
fortunate to have individuals and businesses that
will not only support us themselves but have helped
to spread the word
about what we do here for the community. We also
have to thank the many people that help run our
activities by donating so much of their free time to
the events here at the Center. It would be
impossible to do everything we need to without their
readiness to give up an afternoon or evening to help
us.
If you would like to support the programs and
services that the Center provides to the Irish
community, please visit our online donation page at

Go raibh míle
